• We believe that every person is created in the image of God and therefore, deserves to be loved, respected and valued as God’s child.
• We believe the Bible to be our final authority and the inspired word of God, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit.
• We believe in one true God, creator of all things, and that He has revealed Himself as the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, sent by His Father God, to die for our sins and that He is risen; that as He ascended to Heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit to be Comforter, and Counsellor.
• We believe that Jesus is Lord and will return as declared in Matthew 24:30 and Revelation 19:11-12 (NIV)
• We believe that reconciliation with God is only possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ and that a person must make a profession of faith, turning away from sin (repenting), accepting God’s grace and mercy, and believing in the work of the Cross through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
• We believe in worship as a way to celebrate God’s presence and give honour, glory and thanksgiving to Him. Psalm 95, 96
• We believe in baptism as a public statement of faith. We believe in the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28: 16-20 (NIV) “Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
